You provide: name and email for your account; charger location, specs, availability and pricing if you are a host; optional phone number for host-driver contact; vehicle make, model and connector type if you choose to add a vehicle.
Automatically: your device's precise location while the app is open (foreground only) to display nearby chargers — never stored on our servers beyond the active session. Anonymous session identifiers used by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in securely. We do not collect device model, OS version, or advertising identifiers.
We do not store your precise GPS history beyond active sessions. We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your home address publicly — only a neighbourhood-level pin is shown on the map until a booking is confirmed by an ID-verified driver.
To create and manage your account; to connect drivers with available chargers nearby; to process payments and pay out hosts; to send booking confirmations and receipts; to maintain platform security; and to comply with legal obligations. Your data is never used for advertising or profiling.

Your exact charger address is never shown publicly on the map. Drivers see a neighbourhood-level pin only. Your full address is revealed only to a confirmed, verified driver immediately before their booking window begins.
All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). EVDay never stores your full card number, CVV, or bank details. When you pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay, the transaction is handled entirely by your device's secure payment system — EVDay receives only a payment confirmation token. Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Australian financial regulations.
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher. Passwords are never stored — authentication uses Supabase's OAuth and magic-link flows. Session tokens are kept in encrypted device storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Certificate pinning is used on Android to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. Access to your data on our servers is restricted by Row Level Security — only you can read your own records.
If your device supports Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock, EVDay may use these to confirm your identity before opening the app. Biometric data is processed entirely on-device by iOS or Android — it is never transmitted to EVDay's servers.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Delete your account any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. Profile data, listings, and booking history are permanently erased within 30 days. Legally required transaction records (invoices, payment records) are retained for 7 years as required by Australian tax law.
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data at any time. You may also object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@ozqubitlabs.com. We respond within 30 days.
EVDay requires users to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact support@ozqubitlabs.com and we will delete it immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this section will always reflect the latest revision. For significant changes we will notify you via email or an in-app notice.
